Kenneth Queen for US Congress
Kenneth Queen was born and raised near Bostic, North Carolina, and his family has deep roots in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. He lived briefly in New York and Germany while his dad served in the US Army. After marrying his high school sweetheart, whose family also goes back six generations in western North Carolina, he enlisted and went on to serve almost fifteen years in the US Navy. With hard work and the support of friends, family, and fellow shipmates, Kenneth was selected to serve his country as a Chief Petty Officer in 2012. He has served on four US destroyers: the USS Lassen, USS Churchill, USS McCampbell, and USS Curtis Wilbur.
In 2017, Kenneth returned to his home to raise his family with the people he loves and respects. After serving his country for almost fifteen years, the habit is hard to break. Kenneth feels, as do most Americans, that major changes are desperately needed in Washington. He has been troubled to see the hard working people from his home ignored and neglected on the national stage and hopes to bring a fresh voice of representation to congress for the people of his district. Kenneth will work with honesty and integrity to ensure that North Carolina’s tenth district is represented with the same ideals that are important to him and the people of the district.
